Editor’s note: We are sharing this information found on the WPA listserv.
We invite your proposals for an exciting edited collection titled Radical Frameworks for Writing Transfer: Epistemological Justice in the Writing Classroom. The collection will include an afterword by Dr. Asao Inoue and will be published by Peter Lang.
In this collection, we take up this call to explore and theorize the radically antiracist epistemological foundations necessary for (re)framing our writing pedagogies as part of transfer and transformation of writing knowledge across contexts. What does a radically antiracist writing transfer curriculum look like? How can we (re)theorize transfer in ways that, as Bettina L. Love (2019), suggests, give students and instructors the “language, understanding, and, hopefully, co-conspirators not only to fight, but also to demand what is needed to thrive”? (147).

Proposals of 250-500 words are due on or before August 15, 2021. Please send as MS Word email attachments with the subject line “Radial Frameworks for Writing Transfer” to firstname.lastname@example.org. Preliminary inquiries are encouraged and welcome.
