Good morning, everyone! I wanted to provide a quick update and reminder about NCPTW’s 2021 conference. Due to ongoing complications around travel funding and COVID-19, the board and the committee have decided to move NCPTW to a purely online format. We think this creates the most equity among potential participants, especially for peer tutors.
We have also updated our proposal acceptance portal. You can find the new portal here https://ncptw.info/index.php?msg=2 If you’ve proposed a presentation to NCPTW before, you can use your current credentials. Otherwise, you’ll be prompted to create a new account and password. From there, you’ll see the current call for proposals on the homepage once you login. If you submitted a proposal using the former Google form submission, that’s great! I’ll keep track of those submissions and include them with ones sent through the new portal–so no need to re-submit anything.
Finally, I’ve attached the CFP to this e-mail for your reference and to remind that the current due date is 4/25. To keep track of any updates or new information, please feel free to check our website: https://thencptw.org/pittsburgh2021/
As always, please let me know if you have any questions!
